A decade of finding cheap flights

Traffel began in 2015 as Indrek Kald's hand-curated English-language cheap-flight newsletter, scouting deep-discount long-haul deals from Europe by reading travel sources across roughly twenty languages. The wedge then was simple: aggregators only show what the GDS feeds them, and most great deals — error fares, hidden-city pricing, regional deal sites in Italian, Polish, Korean, Spanish — never make it into Skyscanner. Picking those up by hand, week after week, found subscribers some genuinely surprising flights. (Postimees / Meie Maa, 2016.)

What we're building now

Same wedge. AI doing the scouting.

The 2026 relaunch is a paid subscription information service: subscribers get the same kind of long-tail flight intelligence Indrek used to compile by hand, surfaced reliably and at scale by an AI signal engine. We focus on Tallinn-departing flights at launch and expand once the engine is consistently outperforming the public aggregators.
